THE BEGINNING

Brian & Shawn Chrisagis were born with life-threatening allergies to the sun, grass, most food and clothing. The doctors said they wouldn’t live past the age of two, now walking, talking miracles in their thirties. The twins were in an incubator for the first two years of their lives, and when they were brought home the windows of their house had to be bricked in to protect them from the sun.

The Chrisagis Brothers’ early years were marked by a series of “tests and errors” by doctors from the US, Italy, France, and Germany. It was discovered the only food they could eat was soybean, milk, sardines, rice cakes, and peanut butter. Their mother (Marguerite Chrisagis) and grandmother, (Carmie ‘Nana’ DeFilippo), had to make all their clothing out of the few fabrics their skin did not react to. If the sun hit them, they would nearly die, and would have to be rushed to the hospital. If they had to go outside, they would have to be covered up with hats and blankets.

THE MIRACLE

When Shawn & Brian were seven years old, their mother Marguerite, who suffered from a serious heart condition and was in a wheelchair and on oxygen as a result, went to a healing service at a Full Gospel Businessmen’s meeting. She went forward after the sermon to ask the preacher, Father Michael Scanlon, to pray for her sons’ healing (she didn’t care about herself – she was only concerned over her sons healing), but he insisted on praying for her. Father Scanlon told her that as a parent she had the authority in her home to stand in the gap and pray for her sons healing and deliverance. That is when she learned how to break the blood-line of sickness, death, and disease over her home and loved ones.

After Father Scanlon prayed for Marguerite, she got out of her wheelchair and took off her oxygen, ran around and wasn’t winded. When she got home she had the whole family pray over her sick children. Marguerite ‘felt an evil Spirit push her onto the floor’ and the twins were set free instantly from all sickness. In an act of faith, Marguerite asked the boys to name anything they would like to eat. “Hot fudge sundae!” was the unanimous response. For the first time, the family went out to a nearby restaurant for the boys’ first ice cream. The entire week, the family went to the doctors, who “redid the tests and x-rays about five times” before he finally confirmed the twins were completely well and that their mother had “a new heart.” Their doctor became a born again believer that day marking the beginning of the twins’ powerful ministry.

THE MINISTRY

Today, both licensed ministers and founders of the Chrisagis Brothers Ministries and the popular Good News Gang ministry, are still sharing their powerful testimony and are ministering full-time to all ages at churches, conferences, and seminars worldwide. The brothers have appeared on TV, radio, and in Christian magazines all over the world. The Good News Gang Variety Series, which they wrote and starred in for the Sky-Angel Network, is currently running on KTV, the largest Christian Children’s Network in the world. They hosted and wrote for Candid Camera, and have worked with several well-known celebrities from Hollywood such as Erik Estrada, Jennifer O’Neill, and Jack Scalia. The Brothers also hosted three hit Radio Shows in syndication ‘God Thing’, ‘Chrisagis Mania’, and Humble O’Radio’.

The Chrisagis Brothers have become staples in the Christian World with their TV variety specials, popular Christian Contemporary Music concerts, their Children’s Products (Character Building Toys & Books), plus their amazing comical persona and their creative TV Productions. The Brothers are always busy traveling world-wide in concerts & stand-up comedy routines, plus creating new projects for the entire family to enjoy. The Indy Charts have named the Chrisagis Brothers their top 50 favorite Indy Artists Globally time and time again on ‘Reverb Nation’. The Brothers music has been seen & heard Internationally & they were the first Christian Artists ever on MTV. Their Music videos have also been named best Christian Music videos on the web and the brothers are the first to ever create a Christian Variety series called ‘The Chrisagis Brothers ‘ Variety Series like Carol Burnett, Donny & Marie, Sonny & Cher, and MadTV. The Brothers aren’t afraid to try new things, they were the first ministry to do a Christian Reality Series called ‘God’s Bootcamp’, and the first Christian Ministers ever in the popular woman’s Magazine (from California) called ‘Most Eligible Men’ along side Mario Lopez and Ryan Seacrest. The Chrisagis Brothers want to take over the air-waves with the message of Jesus and that is exactly what they intend to do in the next few years.
